Ha presentato un brillante curriculum;
un piano di lavoro specifico e circoscritto, e lusinghiere
lettere di presentazione." [ ]

I have been enormously impressed with
her dedication and seriousness as a scholar. There
are very few members in this faculty of 130 members
who approach her in the seriousness of her academic
pursuits. In addition, I have been very impressed
with her wide range of interests and expertise. She
moves with great facility from music to literature
to philosophy to other fields as well. Most recently,
I attended her lecture on the Second Viennese School
which happens to be a great interest of my own. Though
there are very many obvious attractions of the music
of this period, it is very difficult to put it into
an intelligible, cultural context. I must say that
Dr. Bratuz succeeded in doing this admirably.

Dr Bratuz is the rarest of performers,
since her interest has always lain not simply in transmitting
a technique of pianism to her students, but also in
enlightening them about the ideals of philosophy and
aesthetics, and the nature of musical utterance. The
result of the interaction of her personal faith in
music and the personality of her students has been,
in my observation, that those students with the greatest
intellectual capacity have attached themselves to
her and have learned from her what few others are
capable of teaching. Dr.Bratuz is herself filled with
a spirit of enquiry, and has communicated that spirit
to the elect among her students. Over the years her
contribution to this Faculty of Music has been in
the unparalleled enrichment which she has constantly
offered to her students and her colleagues alike.
